Job Responsibility:
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and processing customer orders into our systems. This role requires strong data entry skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently. The Order Entry Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are handled promptly and accurately, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer orders into the database and ensure all information is complete and correct.
- Perform data collection and maintain organized records of all order-related documentation.
- Utilize Excel for data management, including spreadsheets and reports related to order processing.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, clerical duties, and maintaining databases.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders.
- Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding order entry processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with database management systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to type accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with clerical duties such as filing, data collection, and administrative support is preferred.
