Job Responsibility:
Are You a Rebel Who Needs a Cause?
At Hotel Zed we are Rebels Against the Ordinary and Hotel Zed Kelowna is looking for a Room Attendant (Full Time/Seasonal - weekend availability required) to join our dynamic, totally unique and rebellious team. Hotel Zeds are ridiculously fun, unpretentious hotels where we challenge the norm every day.
Working at Hotel Zed is different than working anywhere else, and we don't just say that. We're a family-owned, BC-based hospitality company that LEADS WITH LOVE and our number one metric as a company is the happiness of our staff, who we call our Fam-Jam 'cause we are like family.
Key to our success is living by our four Core Values everyday:
- Be Real
- Have Fun
- Make Everything Better
- Have Each Other's Backs
Here we want our Fam-Jam to feel well taken of by us and by one another. That's who we are!
Benefits & Work Perks
We cover 100% of medical and dental premiums, + free mental health benefits. We also have a bunch of Work Perks just for you:
- Free nights at any of our hotels + discounts for friends & family
- Live your Best Life fund (we'll help pay for courses that'll make your life better, whether or not they're related to your role with us)
- Gift cards for achieving targets
- Employee purchase program so you can get sweet deals on everything from electronics to mattresses!
And these are just a few!
What You Do
- You embody our four Core Values everyday bringing your positive self to make your fellow employees and guests days brighter.
- You are detail oriented to make sure that each sheet and towel is spotlessly clean, folded, sorted, and ready on time for the Room Attendants to prepare the rooms for our guests.
- You strive for higher efficiency and standards. You value the environment and help us lower our footprint by ensuring that the machines are working at top efficiency.
- You spot any tears or permanent stains and help us give back by sorting the linens for donation.
What You Need
- Must be available weekends
- Fun loving nature
- Spidey sense for stains and tears
- An eagle eye for details
- Able to happily work on your own
- Value a daily routine and a physical job
- Able bodied and capable of lifting and pushing heavy loads
