Community Nurse Role in Ottawa
CBI Home Health
Make an impact as a Community Nurse with CBI Home Health in Ottawa. Support patients in their homes and communities through personalized care and clinical expertise. CBI Home Health is seeking Registered Practical Nurses for full-time and part-time roles in various Ottawa locations. You’ll apply your skills in areas like wound care, IV therapy, and medication administration. By working collaboratively with healthcare teams, your person-centered approach will ensure the highest quality of care for clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in clients' homes and community settings
- Deliver wound care, IV therapy, and medication administration
- Facilitate health teaching and palliative care services
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams for patient support
- Utilize critical thinking to assess and navigate client needs
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Professional Liability Insurance required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience in pediatric or palliative care preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently
