Deer Creek Banquet Server

Job Responsibility:

Position Overview: As a banquet hall server, your primary responsibility is to ensure a smooth and efficient execution of events and functions held at Deer Creek. You will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to guests, delivering food and beverage, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure a positive and memorable experience for all guests.
• Strong customer and communication skills

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 and have a valid SMART serve certification.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays based on the event schedule.
• Available in the fall and winter months
• Previous work experience in a banquet hall or catering service is preferred.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and life/move heavy trays.

Food and Beverage Service:

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Follow proper serving etiquette and presentation standards.
• Set up banquet tables and buffet stations according to the event specifications.
• Monitor and replenish food and beverage supplies during events.

Communication:

• Coordinate with your event supervisor, service lead, and or kitchen to ensure timely service and any changes that need to be made.
• Communicate effectively with other Banquet servers.

Adaptability:

• Be flexible and adaptable to handle last minute changes or requests during events.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks as needed.

Professionalism:

• Always uphold a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Follow dress code and grooming standards set by the banquet hall

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
• Follow establishment protocols for handling and serving alcoholic beverages.
