Senior Product Manager

Job Overview

Senior Product Manager – Mississauga, ON (HQ). Full‑time, Hybrid work model. SOTI is a leading mobile and IoT device management company that values innovation, customer advocacy, and a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.
• Author detailed product requirements and user stories, and collaborate with Engineering, UX, QA, and Marketing to ensure successful execution.
• Work closely with Sales and Support teams to enable successful customer adoption, including creating training material and supporting key customer engagements.
• Drive product positioning and go‑to‑market plans in collaboration with Marketing, ensuring consistent messaging and value articulation.
• Mentor and guide junior product managers or cross‑functional contributors, fostering a strong product‑thinking culture.
• Act as a product expert in executive briefings, customer sessions, trade shows, and conferences.
• Stay up to date with competitive product landscapes, technological advancements, and evolving customer needs.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in product management within an enterprise software or SaaS environment, with 2+ years in a senior‑level role preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in launching and managing innovative, scalable products.
• Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills – comfortable influencing across levels and departments.
• Technical background or strong technical fluency, especially in networking, enterprise IT, or telecommunications.
• Ability to collaborate and lead in a matrixed, cross‑functional team environment.
• Strong prioritization, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; graduate degree is a plus.
• Experience with Android, MacOSX, Linux, and Windows Server is a plus.
• Completion of Pragmatic Marketing (now Pragmatic Institute) training is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events; valid passport required.
