Engineering Project Manager St. John'S

Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects remotely from St. John's using scope, schedule, budget, and client relationship management skills. Travel to client sites throughout the area is required.Giffen Consulting Ltd. seeks an experienced Project Manager for mining, utilities, and heavy industrial projects. You will own delivery from initiation through close-out while managing stakeholders, contracts, risks, and change. The arrangement will eventually become hybrid after Giffen establishes its St. John's office.Key Responsibilities:
Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and contract requirementsMaintain client relationships and communicate requirements throughout project lifecyclesOversee design, procurement, construction, and project interfacesIdentify risks, resolve issues, and mitigate impacts proactivelyLead reporting, quality, HSE, and project team communicationsRequirements:
Four or more years in multidisciplinary engineering environmentsExperience with complex projects valued from $500K to $10MExtensive knowledge of engineering design phasesFamiliarity with greenfield and brownfield mining or heavy industrial projectsKnowledge of industry standards, regulations, and codesApply engineering project management expertise to deliver mining, utility, and industrial projects with Giffen in Newfoundland.
