In this pivotal role, youll bring over a decade of Commercial Underwriting experience to effectively service highly complex accounts. Youll utilize your critical thinking and negotiation skills to navigate unique risks and ensure that customized coverage meets our clients needs. Your customer-focused approach will be integral to maintaining solid connections with both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and underwrite unique, high-risk commercial accounts
- Provide expert guidance on risk selection and coverage
- Collaborate with brokers for tailored underwriting solutions
- Mentor and coach junior team members
- Facilitate communication with internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of Commercial Underwriting experience
- Demonstrated ability with large casualty accounts
- Experience in underwriting loss-sensitive programs
- Solid leadership and mentorship skills
- Pursuing CIP or FCIP designations
