Reporting to the operations manager, you will assist in the preparation, maintenance of the kitchen, and all other kitchen-related tasks, according to established standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• assisting in the preparation of simple dishes;

• assisting in the setup;

• portioning perishable goods;

• helping to prepare simple dishes (e.g., hot chicken, poutines, cutting cakes);

• participating in the preparation of salads (cutting cabbage, preparing salad for takeout, etc.);

• participating in the storage of food in the kitchen (filling the fridge, taking products out of the freezer, restocking the production line, including sauces, coulis, preparing food for the cook, etc.);

• assisting in completing plates and takeout boxes;

• assisting the dishwasher;

• storing dishes in appropriate places;

• assisting in the reception and storage of supplies;

• helping with inventory management and product rotation;

• helping with the maintenance of equipment and materials (cleaning the grill, the freezer, etc.);

• ensuring cleanliness in the work environment, maintaining equipment, and adhering to hygiene and health and safety standards;

• understanding and applying the policies and regulations in effect at the establishment;

• applying and performing work in accordance with occupational health and safety procedures;

• carrying out any other task aimed at ensuring the smooth running of operations and the quality of customer service.

• High School Diploma (Secondary 3);

• Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience;

• Demonstrated customer service skills;

• Team spirit;

• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail;

• Be rigorous in adhering to cleanliness standards and maintaining your workstation;

• Availability to work varying shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
