Lead municipal infrastructure design for AtkinsRéalis across Western Canada, combining civil engineering expertise with project delivery and client coordination.As a Senior Municipal Engineer, you will guide municipal and utility infrastructure projects from concept through construction. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee technical deliverables, and support municipal clients. The position requires Alberta P.Eng. registration, extensive infrastructure design experience, and knowledge of local standards.Key Responsibilities:
Lead municipal and utility infrastructure designs through constructionManage budgets, schedules, resources, and design deliverablesServe as Engineer of Record and oversee QA/QCCoordinate multidisciplinary teams and municipal stakeholdersMentor junior staff and support team growthRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer registration in AlbertaMinimum 15 years’ municipal infrastructure design experienceKnowledge of Alberta standards, specifications, and approving agenciesProficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS ProjectBring senior civil engineering leadership, municipal design expertise, and construction delivery experience to AtkinsRéalis infrastructure projects.
