URGENT: Nanny Wanted - Looking For A Caring Nanny In Calgary, Alberta At $25.00/Hour

Full-Time Nanny (Live-Out) We are a professional family in Calgary seeking a caring, experienced and reliable nanny to provide full-time (live-out) care for our happy, curious two-year-old daughter. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating engaging learning opportunities, fostering creativity and independence and becoming an important part of our family's daily routine. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting early childhood development, enjoy planning age-appropriate activities at home and participating in pre-planned activities outside of the house. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining an organized and welcoming household environment. Key Responsibilities: Childcare & Development:

• Provide attentive, loving and safe care for our two-year-old daughter throughout the day
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and developmental activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, language development, and independent learning through structured and unstructured play
• Attend outings and activities outside of the house, including, parks and playgrounds, libraries and story times, community programs and play groups, swimming lessons, gymnastics, or other age-appropriate activities
• Maintain consistent daily routines, including meals, naps and transitions
• Support positive behaviour and emotional development using a patient and nurturing approach

Transportation:

• Safely transport our daughter to local activities, programs and appointments as required
• Maintain a valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle
• Ensure proper use of child safety seats and safe driving practices at all times (car seat to be provided)

Meal Preparation:

• Prepare healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks for our daughter each day
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals appropriate for a growing toddler
• Assist with light dinner preparation and meal prep as needed to support the family

Household Support: While our daughter's care will always be the primary focus, we are looking for assistance with light household duties that help keep the home running smoothly, including:

• Children's laundry and occasional family laundry
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Tidying kitchen and common living areas
• Keeping toys, play areas and children's belongings organized
• Light household organization and general upkeep
• Maintaining a clean and orderly environment throughout the day

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience caring for toddlers or young children in a nanny, daycare, preschool, or similar setting
• Solid understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate learning activities
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• Strong references from previous childcare positions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification, diploma or related education
• Experience with developmental programming and early learning activities
• Background in teaching, child development or pediatric care
