SISIP FINANCIAL

A full suite of financial solutions, tailored to the realities of our Canadian Armed Forces Members and their families, is offered through the SISIP Financial division within CFMWS. In addition to conventional insurance, investment and financial advice products and services, we pride ourselves in delivering preventative financial education and, where required, counselling, to support our members' financial wellbeing. At SISIP, we keep our members at the center of everything we do. Our ultimate target is the right solution at the right time for our members, and our commission-free environment reinforces this. As a social enterprise, the profits we make help fund programs within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) community to benefit members and their families.

SISIP Financial services are available to Canadian Armed Forces Members both virtually and in-person. We have 23 offices located in CAF communities across Canada. Our national office is located in Ottawa.

THE ROLE

Under the direction of the District Manager, the Investment Funds Advisor provides tailored investment advice and solutions to current and former CAF members and their families. They demonstrate the skills, knowledge and experience for budgeting and cash flow management, mutual fund investments, education planning, retirement planning and estate planning. They analyze clients' financial records, sets goals and recommends investment solutions to help them achieve their goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Certifications and Licenses

Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field AND several years of experience in financial services

Canadian Securities Course (CSC)

Registered to sell Mutual Funds (MFDA/AMF)

Investment Funds Course (IFC)

Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) OR Personal Financial Planner® (PFP), an asset

Experience

In the provision of financial planning and investment services

In building relationships with clients

In organizing and delivering presentations

In providing investment advice

In preparing written financial plans

Competencies, Skills and Abilities

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

English Essential, Bilingual (English and French) an asset

Reading: Advanced

Writing: Functional

Oral: Advanced

Start Date: 06 June 2024

This is an on-site position.

Relocation benefits will not be provided.

Salary plus Employee Performance Plan.
