In this highly visible and dynamic role as a Technical Project Manager your responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing the execution of contracts and managing multiple stakeholders to guarantee the success of the project. Additionally, you will build on collaboration with other Execution Units and Functions, actively contribute to growth strategy and make Grid Technologies Service a value creator for the Business Area, adding strong value to customers and driving long term relationships. How You’ll Make an Impact
- As a Technical Project Manager for the Grid Technologies - Service - Canada organization, you are a key figure when it comes to executing and delivering sold contracts for the region.
- You are the key figure when it comes to effectively delivering sold projects in Canada.
- You manage stakeholders, project schedules, delivery scope, required services, and all other execution‑related activities according to defined Project Management standards and customer requirements to guarantee Service success in Canada.
- You provide comprehensive lessons learned from ongoing or finalized projects to improve overall processes and strategy.
- You feed insights into the Service organization to guarantee constant portfolio improvement and customer‑centricity.
- You adequately report on project status and development in required internal forums.
- You support the constant improvement of Project Management processes based on market feedback and experience.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in engineering, power engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable technical education (equivalent experience may substitute educational requirements)
- 6+ years of experience and proven success record in similar roles
- Technical experience in the energy industry
- Ability to communicate effectively with international team members and customers in English (and French preferred)
- Creativity, ability to work in a team and an honest and open personality
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in Canada without need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
