Program Manager IV – Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)

Duration: 1 year. Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite/week). Potential for Extension/FTE Conversion: Yes. Interview Process: 2–3 rounds, including an assignment. Target Start: ASAP. Pay Rates: T4: 60-68, IC: 70-82.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and manage end-to-end project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Lead project meetings, drive discussions, track action items, and ensure follow-through.
  • Collaborate across HR, Compensation, Engineering, Operations, and other business teams.
  • Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and proactively coordinate resolutions.
  • Prepare stakeholder communications, status updates, and presentation materials.
  • Support testing, readiness planning, and change management activities.
  • Ensure projects remain aligned with compensation processes and operational timelines.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and facilitating meetings with stakeholders and project teams.
  • Coordinating with teams to resolve blockers and escalations.
  • Tracking project deliverables and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Managing communications and maintaining project documentation.
  • Driving accountability and momentum across cross‑functional workstreams.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working at a Big 4 or major consulting firm.
  • Solid program/project management experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements.
  • Basic understanding of end-to-end compensation processes.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting M&A integration or implementation initiatives.
  • Exposure to compensation systems and structures.
  • Experience working in highly cooperative, cross‑functional environments.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce/Org62 is considered an asset.

Candidate Profile

  • 3–8 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Candidates with under 3 years may be considered underqualified.
  • Candidates with 8+ years may be considered overqualified.
  • Must be comfortable working onsite in Toronto twice per week.
  • Must be able to work within EST hours.
