Medical Advisor, Multiple Myeloma

AbbVie seeks a Medical Advisor for Multiple Myeloma to provide medical and scientific support to clinical research and collaborate across organizational groups. This national-scope role, based in Montreal or Markham, develops medical strategies aligned with brand objectives and manages clinical study activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute medical strategy within brand team framework
- Support clinical study feasibility, site selection, and issue resolution
- Review clinical protocols and investigator-initiated research proposals
- Liaise with commercial groups, project teams, and external experts
- Monitor scientific literature on products and competitive landscape
Requirements
- MD or PharmD degree required
- 2-3 years experience in Multiple Myeloma
- 3-5 years knowledge of drug development and clinical research
- Previous scientific role in healthcare customer-facing environment
- Strong presentation skills and ability to interpret clinical research
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with technology
- Valid driver's license and passport; 20-30% travel required
