Golf Services Supervisor

Job Responsibility:

Job Purpose:

To assist the Director of Golf in all day-to-day operations to ensure a positive customer experience. The Golf Services Supervisor will also assist in staff/volunteer supervision, ensuring procedures are done properly and efficiently. Leading by example and monitoring staff will be expected.

General Duties:

• Opening/Closing procedures of Golf Shop and Clubhouse.
• Tee time management - Handle incoming telephone calls and bookings.
• Provide exceptional customer services, advice, and assistance to all guests/members.
• Control and manage play; ensure guest check in and fee collection.
• Be informed on and promote all club activities and services.
• Ensure outside services duties are being completed by continually monitoring staff and volunteers.
• Maintain communication with on-course marshals to ensure pace of play and etiquette is being monitored.
• Assist with all staff, shop cleanliness and organization.

Specific Duties may include (but not limited to):

• Lead team of staff and volunteers for preparation and execution of corporate events.
• Train and supervise golf shop staff and volunteers.
• Assist in organizing weekly leagues.
• Be a scheduled supervisor on duty to ensure any issues are handled appropriately.
• Other administrative duties as required.

• Strong computer skills.
• Leadership, management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Period of Employment/Compensation

• Seasonal, Full time - approximately April to mid-November (weather permitting).
• Hourly Wage - $20 to $22 per hour (based on experience)

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 44 per week
