Lead Project Engineer - Heavy Machinery

Become a Lead Project Engineer within one of the largest heavy equipment companies worldwide. This leadership role focuses on advanced project management for Forklift and Telehandler lines. As a hands-on engineer, you will lead product development from concept through final execution while collaborating with a diverse team. Your responsibilities will range from technical problem-solving to quality assurance in product design. This position also involves managing BOMs and interfacing with vendors to enhance product development. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage product development cycles effectively
• Design and test heavy equipment systems and components
• Conduct site visits and support quality audits
• Analyze project scope with customer contracts
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements:

• Engineering degree, preferably with a Mechanical focus
• 7–10 years of progressive engineering experience
• Advanced skills in SolidWorks or similar modeling software
• Strong analytical mindset for workflow design
• Excellent communication skills for clarity in updates
