Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Help maintain a 38-room motel, keeping guest rooms to the highest standards by making beds, changing linens, dusting, polishing surfaces, vacuuming, and thoroughly cleaning bathrooms.
- Ensure every room is guest-ready by checking that windows shine, towels are neatly folded, amenities are fully stocked, and all finishing touches are perfectly in place.
- Assisting with laundry needs ensuring everything has been thoroughly cleaned and folded.
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked housekeeping cart and keep assigned closets orderly and prepared for each shift.
- Greet guests with a warm smile and friendly attitude, helping create a positive, welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel.
- Follow all hotel safety and security procedures, properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment, and promptly report any concerns, damages, or maintenance issues to management.
What you Bring to the Table:
- Prior Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is mandatory
- Must be able to complete a minimum of 12 rooms per shift
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stretch, twist, and reach for extended periods
- Work diligently to ensure seamless service delivery and address guest needs.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail
- Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-past environment independently, with minimal supervision.
