We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative – Toronto

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for driving technical sales growth and managing customer relationships across assigned territories and markets. This role combines technical expertise with consultative sales skills to support customers in identifying and implementing solutions that meet their operational and technical requirements.

What We Expect?

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical sales or industrial solutions.
• Experience with electrical, instrumentation, automation, or control systems.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce is considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
• Conversational French is considered an asset.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to support sales growth across assigned territories and markets.
• Promote technical products and solutions through consultative sales, presentations, and customer engagement.
• Provide technical guidance, product recommendations, demonstrations, and application support based on customer requirements.
• Track sales opportunities, customer activities, and project updates using Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, Technical Services, and Operations, to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Attend customer meetings, site visits, and industry events to strengthen relationships and expand business opportunities.
• Monitor competitor offerings, industry trends, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth.
• Support customers with product selection, configuration guidance, and operational best practices.
• Achieve or exceed annual sales targets and performance objectives.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to customer interactions, technical solutions, and sales activities.
