Department: Fashion

Reports To: The Fashion Manager reports to ownership and works alongside the Giftware and Stockroom Managers.

We're looking for a dynamic Fashion Manager to oversee the buying, planning, and day-

to-day operations of our fashion department. This role is perfect for someone who

enjoys the retail environment, can build a positive team culture, and has an eye for

This role blends hands-on merchandising and inventory control with leadership,

planning, and creative direction to elevate the customer experience and department

performance.

Job Overview:

The Fashion Manager is responsible for all areas and details related to fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead seasonal buying and ordering of clothing and accessories in alignment with

trends, customer preferences, and budget targets

- Manage the departmental budget to optimize margin and maintain profitability

- Schedule and supervise staff within the fashion and gift departments, fostering a

positive and collaborative work environment

- Oversee floor inventory and visual merchandising, ensuring engaging, brand-aligned

product displays

- Maintain a well-organized, compliant backroom and inventory system, adhering

to all health and safety protocols

- Set retail pricing and track profit margins to meet financial goals

- Plan and execute fashion events that drive customer engagement and in-store traffic

- Collaborate closely with the Back-Room Manager and Gift Manager to streamline

operations and improve team efficiency

- Balance creative vision with strategic decision making

Qualifications & Experience:

- Fashion retail management/sales/buying experience

- Retail merchandising

- Passion for style & design

- Computer efficient; comfortable using email, Microsoft Word & Excel

- Comfortable using social media platforms. Experience with Meta business suite is an

asset

- Ability to travel to attend twice yearly buying shows in Toronto

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
