Join our team as an Accounting Technician, where you’ll maintain financial records in French and support our accounting operations. This morning role emphasizes account management and reporting. We seek candidates with a college diploma in accounting and 1 to 2 years of experience. Your routine tasks will include posting journal entries, preparing detailed financial reports, and ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts. You will also be responsible for managing invoices and essential contractual documentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and balance financial records using software
- Post journal entries to keep books current
- Prepare trial balance and financial statements
- Reconcile all accounts regularly
- Execute preparation of invoices and reports
- Completion of a relevant college or CEGEP program
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting
- Ability to communicate effectively in French
- Familiarity with digital bookkeeping systems
- Willingness to work 35 hours weekly
