About The Role
Harvey & Company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented PDI Technician to join our team. The PDI Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, preparing, and finalizing vehicles/equipment before delivery to customers. This role ensures every unit meets company standards for safety, functionality, cleanliness, and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles/equipment
- Inspect mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and safety systems
- Install accessories and complete minor repairs or adjustments
- Check fluid levels, tire pressure, battery condition, and overall functionality
- Diagnose and troubleshoot minor issues before delivery
- Complete required documentation and inspection reports accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work closely with service, sales, and parts departments to meet delivery deadlines
- Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer and company standards
Qualifications
- Previous mechanical or technician experience preferred
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Valid driver’s license required
- Experience with automotive, heavy equipment, RV, marine, or powersports industries is considered an asset
