Seeking Cabinetmaker Apprentices

What you need:

1) Solid command of the English language; spoken, written and reading.

2) Must be organized, efficient and accurate in performing the duties and responsibilities of this position.

3) Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

4) Must be able to take constructive criticism positively without ego.

What you'll learn:

1) Use of all the basic production equipment, eg. Sliding panel saws, jointer, thickness planer, shaper, drum sander, cut-off saw, 4-sided planer , Edgesander, Slot mortise/doweling machine, Veneer press, etc.

2) Working knowledge of different solid wood types, plastic laminates, plywood, particleboard, veneering, and veneered particleboard/MDF.

3) Read drawings and cut listings

4) Prepare and assemble cut pieces at the workbench by using drawings and cutting lists

5) Cutting and planing all solid woods and sheet goods, according to cutting lists generated by the office.

6) And so much more!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
