OIBDC aims to recruit a results‑driven Chief Operating Officer to oversee its business portfolio and provide strategic leadership. With a focus on operational excellence, the COO will work closely with the CEO to align business operations with community objectives and long‑term sustainability. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in senior management with a robust understanding of operational leadership and financial accountability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all operations and business entities within OIBDC
- Execute strategic and operational plans effectively
- Develop current business and economic growth opportunities
- Strengthen relationships with government and industry partners
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years in executive leadership positions
- Robust grasp of financial and strategic management
- Background in Indigenous organizational work preferred
- University degree in business or related area required
- An MBA or advanced professional designation is advantageous
