Storekeeper

The WASCO PIPE PROTECTION CORPORATION is a leading provider of pipe coating solutions for the oil and gas industry. Our facility is a fast-paced, safety-first environment where we rely on a strong team of dedicated employees. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Storekeeper to assist with our inventory operations. In this role, you will handle the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials and specialized equipment used in industrial pipe coating.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily readiness of materials requested by Production and Maintenance
Receive, identify, inspect, and stock parts
Control receiving documents; ensure that the packing list documents are forwarded to be received into SAP and stored until transfer of ownership to Accounts Payable
Liaise with supplier
Help plan, organize, and manage optimal storage and movement of materials in warehouse
Perform inventory and cycle-counting of all inventoried items in SAP
Liaise with shipping agent and freight companies to ensure documentation is prepared in time for materials arrival
Enforce, ensure, implement, follow, and abide by all the companys policies, rules, and regulations  
Inform management of potential problems in supply of materials
Ad-hoc projects as requested by management
Documentation and measuring of material preparedness factors as requested by management

Qualifications
High School Diploma
5+ years of Stores/Warehouse
SAP experience is an asset
Knowledge of inventory control and receiving principles in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment
A combination of education and experience will be considered
