Legal Affairs Vice President at Lionsgate Canada

Step into the Vice President role in Business & Legal Affairs at Lionsgate Canada, managing licensing for digital and television. This position offers a chance to shape legal strategies across North America and beyond. In this vital position, you will handle licensing agreements and direct negotiations while supporting a global team. You will draft essential contracts, align with strategic stakeholders, and advise on rights transactions impacting the company's goals across Canada, the U.S., and Latin America. Key Responsibilities:

Support licensing and distribution across multiple regions
Negotiate major agreements with digital and media partners
Manage legal projects and document updates effectively
Liaise with teams on sales agreement tracking
Propose process enhancements for licensing operations

Requirements:

5-8 years post-call legal experience required
An LLB or JD, with Canadian licensure necessary
Experience with intellectual property and media agreements
Strong drafting and negotiation skills are essential
Bilingual abilities in English and French are preferred
