Finance Clerk

The City of Warman is seeking to fill the full-time position of Finance Clerk.  Reporting directly to the Finance Officer, the Finance Clerk is responsible for providing a variety of financial and administrative services. The role focuses on the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations, supporting the property tax and assessment functions and assisting with other financial operations in the department as required to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. This position also provides accounting support to the Recreation and Community Services Department.

Requirements:
Diploma in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum three years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a public or municipal environment.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset.
Strong computer skills, including data entry, word processing, and Microsoft Office.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Must be bondable throughout employment.
Must pass a criminal background check.
