Job Responsibility:
Job Title: Surface and Mineral Land Administrator
Job Summary:The Mineral and Surface Land Administrator will be responsible for managing and administering all aspects of mineral, surface and land contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain Land records (mineral, contract, surface and JV) in Pandell GEO land system.
- Ensure compliance with lease terms, including rental payments, royalty calculations and expiry dates.
- Process mineral and surface lease rental payments and provide Accounting with coding for Invoices.
- Submit Crown Lease continuation applications and update records regarding lease renewals / expiries.
- Assist with co-ordination of Crown Land Sales (posting and bid requests).
- Prepare documents for Land Titles (caveats, withdrawals, transfers).
- Assist with acquisitions and dispositions, as required.
- Process Third Party documents (NOA's, A&N's, CHOP's), as required.
- Work with Surface Land Brokers to maintain surface files.
- Liaise with technical groups and external parties regarding land enquiries.
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations relating to mineral rights.
Requirements:
- 10+ Years of experience in Land Administration in Alberta O&G industry
- Working knowledge of surface land procedures, relevant land legislation and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of mineral rights and lease agreements.
- Familiarity with provincial and federal regulations related to mineral land management.
- Proficiency in Pandell Geo, GeoScout, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contractContract length: 6 months
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week
