We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front Counter Attendant to join our CHICK-N-JOY team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling food orders and payments. Your ability to engage with customers and ensure their satisfaction will be essential to our success.
Duties:
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain precise cash handling procedures.
- Assist customers with menu selections, including upselling additional items.
- Ensure the counter area and dining space are clean and organized.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with Prep staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and uphold high standards of hygiene.
Skills:
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction handling.
- Ability to effectively upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
