Instrumentation Journeyman & Apprentices

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently hiring for Industrial Instrumentation Journeyman and Apprentices for local projects located across Bonnyville, AB. Shifts will vary depending on the project.

Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas construction and maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term industrial projects with well-established and reputable clients.

Positions Being Hired For

• Instrumentation Journeyman
• Instrumentation Apprentice (2nd, 3or, or 4th year)

Requirements

• Journeyman Instrumentation certificate, OR
• Registered Instrumentation Apprentice (2nd, 3rd, or 4th year),
• Previous instrumentation construction and maintenance experience working within the Industrial Oil & Gas sector would be considered an asset
• Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals Certificates
• Valid Class 5 drivers license and clean driving record(preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have a flexible work schedule - shift work, overtime, weekends, and travel
• For local positions - applicants located outside of the shop area must be willing to relocate to be considered
