We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, have experience working in a kitchen, and possess a strong understanding of food safety practices.
## Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items
- Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor food levels and replenish stock as needed
- Follow proper food handling procedures and comply with all health and safety regulations
## Experience
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
