Job Responsibility:
We are a French Macarons and organic loose leaf tea boutique located in the heart of the busy retail district of Calgary on 16th SW.
We make our French macarons and many other treats on-site and we are looking to add a Pastry Chef assistant position to our team.
As the Pastry Chef Assistant, your main responsibilities will be as followed:- Macaron production (making shells, fillings and other treats and cakes)- Ensuring kitchen cleanliness & organization- Ensuring product standards- Teaching baking classes- Supporting front of store team if needed (customer service, opening/closing shift, barista duties etc.).- Imagining and creating new recipes- Fulfilling custom ordersetc.
You must be passionate and thrive in a fast pace environment while being able to multitask and pay attention to details under pressure. Good time management and reliability are also a must. As you will be teaching classes, interpersonal skills are essentials as well. We would love to welcome a new talent to our awesome team.
You must be a resident of Canada or have a valid working visa.
Must be able to lift 25lb

Salary: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
