Home Support Worker EJP Family Location Mississauga, ON Salary 21.50 hourly / 32.5 hours per week Full time Morning, Day Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 7 months to less than 1 year Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment Work in employers/client's home Responsibilities Administer bedside and personal care Administer medications Assist clients in water (i.e. pool) Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk Collect specimens Feed or assist in feeding Mend clothing and linens Plan therapeutic diets and menus Provide companionship Provide personal care Prepare and serve nutritious meals Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses CPR Certificate First Aid Certificate Experience and specialization Target audience Elderly Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Bending, crouching, kneeling Combination of sitting, standing, walking Repetitive Sitting Standing for extended periods Walking Work under pressure Personal suitability Punctuality Client focus Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Flexibility Initiative Judgement Organized Reliability Team player Patience Honesty Until: 2026-07-11
