Control Systems Engineer

The salary range for this position in Ontario is $100,000 to $130,000. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills and competencies, and unique qualifications.

Your role, your impactAs a control systems engineer, you’ll work as part of a technical project team on technically challenging and interesting projects, mostly within the nuclear industry, to deliver technical documentation, hardware, and software to clients.
Produce requirements and design documents related to the project scope;
Create testingdocuments as needed;
Write code forPLCs, HMIs, and SCADAs (e.G., Schneider-Electric, Siemens);
Run rounds of testing as required pertaining to the project scope.
Keys to your success
Bachelor’s degree (or similar post-secondary education) in computer science or engineering, with demonstrated academic excellence;
Minimum of 4 years of experience developing and testing control systems;
Experience creating engineering documentation;
In-depth knowledge of PLCs and SCADA programming and configuration, including familiarity with several IEC61131 languages;
Confidence in client-facing situations;
Results-drivenand flexible, with a strong sense of ownership of tasks.
Professional Engineer licence in Ontario (or pursuing);
Experience in the nuclear industry;
Commissioning and installation experience;
Ability to design instrumentation and control systems, and familiarity using electrical drafting tools.
