Market Credit Liquidity Risk Manager

This permanent full-time Manager role prepares advice for executives and the Board.As part of the Financial Risk Strategy team, you will address current and emerging financial risks across a global organization. The position connects investment strategies, business developments, acquisitions, regulatory expectations, and Board requests. Great-West Lifeco operates in Canada, the United States, and Europe through Canada Life, Empower, and Irish Life.Key Responsibilities:
Lead initiatives related to current and emerging financial risksAssess proposed acquisitions and evolving business strategiesCommunicate technical concepts through executive materialsMonitor external developments for material risk-profile shiftsCoach junior coworkers and manage projects to deadlinesRequirements:
Financial institution experience, especially insurance or bankingKeen attention to detail and strong analytical abilityAbility to manage projects and concurrent responsibilitiesConfidence presenting technical concepts to varied audiencesKnowledge of investments, ALM, and life insurance is an assetConnect financial market dynamics with strategic decisions through risk initiatives, executive communication, and global stakeholder relationships at Great-West Lifeco.
