Advisor, Property management and material resources

Temporary position for 12 months.

As a property, document and physical resources management advisor, you help research, oversee and manage documents. This includes preserving, classifying, using, consulting and destroying administrative documents and archives. You may be responsible for one or more sub-specialties, such as the art collection and Société historique Alphonse Desjardins. You advise and assist clients and partners on important development projects and initiatives. You recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities. You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Develop programs and carry out development projects and initiatives
• Develop and help implement objectives, solutions and action plans
• Diagnose issues, challenges and needs related to document management and preservation of the Desjardins art collection to determine target outcomes
• Conduct studies, research and analysis. Prepare reports and develop and make recommendations
• Develop tools, standards and procedures for your line of work
• Write articles and communicate information internally and externally
• Represent Desjardins to clients and external partners, following up as needed.

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience
• Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
• Knowledge of French is required
