Elevate wealth management standards with Canaccord Genuity as the Vice President of Compliance in Toronto. Lead compliance oversight and ensure regulatory adherence in a dynamic financial services environment. In this pivotal role within the Wealth Management Compliance team, you will report to the Chief Compliance Officer. Your focus will be on compliance regulation oversight, risk assessments, and developing robust compliance programs. This position requires a blend of leadership and strategic advisory to ensure the firm’s operations align with securities regulations and client needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead compliance advisory and oversight for Wealth Management operations
- Develop and maintain the firm's compliance program effectiveness
- Conduct risk assessments and oversee remediation plans
- Liaise with regulatory bodies during audits and examinations
- Provide compliance guidance on new products and client solutions
- 10+ years in compliance within wealth management
- 5+ years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of securities regulation
- Experience managing regulatory interactions
- Completion of CSC and CPH required
