Grader for Financial Mathematics Course

Join the University of Ottawa as a Corrector for the Financial Mathematics course, MAT-4372, starting in winter 2027. This role primarily involves grading assignments and supporting student evaluations. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking two undergraduate or graduate students with at least 30 credits in mathematics and statistics. Your responsibilities will include marking tests, mid-terms, and other assignments throughout the semester. Excellent knowledge of the subject is essential, and preference will be given to graduate students in the department. Key Responsibilities:
- Grade mid-terms, tests, and assignments accurately
- Provide constructive feedback to enhance student learning
- Collaborate with the supervising professor
- Attend training as required for university employees
- Communicate effectively with students as needed
- Minimum 30 credits in mathematics and statistics
- Strong understanding of the course material
- Prior grading experience is an asset
- Graduate students preferred
- Availability for the entire semester
