Our client is a well-established mechanical and plumbing contractor with a strong presence in the Calgary construction market. Known for delivering high-quality plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and multi-family developments, they have built a reputation for technical excellence, long-term client relationships, and successful project delivery. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join their team.
Your new role
As an Estimator / Project Manager, you will oversee projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders, managing project budgets and schedules, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and field crews. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards
What you'll need to succeed
5+ years of experience in plumbing estimating and/or project management
Strong knowledge of commercial, residential, and multi-family plumbing systems.
Experience preparing bids, tender submissions, quantity take-offs, and project budgets.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, procurement, and cost control.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Red Seal Plumbing certification or related construction education is considered an asset.
