Focus on performing advanced power system studies while collaborating with utility clients in the Northeast U.S. As part of the Jacobs team, your role will be pivotal in addressing the challenges of the evolving energy sector. Contribute to essential transmission projects while participating in ISO/RTO forums to stay informed on regulatory standards. You will lead project phases, engage with clients, and work closely with experts across North America and internationally. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute steady-state and transient studies on power systems
  • Join utility meetings for project collaboration
  • Oversee project lifecycle, from proposals to execution
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams across locations
  • Engage in stakeholder forums for regulations understanding
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of power system study experience
  • Background with ISO‑NE, NYISO, or PJM operations
  • Familiarity with NERC and FERC standards
  • Professional Engineer (PE or PEng) license
