About the Role

Retail HR Solutions Advisor reports to the Director, Human Resources, you'll serve as the trusted HR partner supporting retail operations across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and other assigned regions.

Focus: 70% Employee Relations, 20% Labour Relations, and 10% Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

Employee Relations

• Lead workplace investigations.
• Coach leaders on performance management, discipline, attendance, accommodations, and conflict resolution.
• Support workforce planning, employee engagement, leadership development, WCB/return-to-work, HR analytics, and legislative compliance.

Labour Relations

• Support unionized operations.
• Interpret collective agreements.
• Investigate grievances.
• Support collective bargaining initiatives.

Talent Attraction & Employer Branding

• Support employer branding, recruitment marketing, career fairs, community outreach, workforce planning, and candidate experience.

What Success Looks Like

• Become a trusted advisor to operational leaders.
• Deliver practical HR solutions that reduce risk and improve engagement.
• Build strong regional partnerships.
• Strengthen leadership capability and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma, or certificate in Human Resources or related discipline.
• CPHR designation (or working toward certification) is an asset.
• 5 – 8 years of progressive HR experience in retail, hospitality, or multi-site operations .
• Strong employee relations and labour relations, union and collective bargaining initiatives expereince.
• Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Dayforce experience is an asset.

Travel up to 40% throughout Manitob a, Saskatchewan, and other assigned provinces. A valid driver's license is required.
