The Opportunity

Build the Future with Us - Support field execution on impactful mine closure and environmental remediation projects within our Applied Solutions team. This opportunity is ideal for a junior Construction Coordinator / Supervisor looking to develop hands-on experience in construction coordination within challenging environments.

In this role, you’ll contribute to delivering safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible outcomes , working closely with experienced field teams. Operating on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational schedule in Yellowknife , you’ll help ensure projects meet performance, safety, and compliance expectations while building your experience on meaningful environmental restoration initiatives.

Your Impact

• Support and coordinate daily construction and field activities on mine closure and environmental projects

• Assist in monitoring contractor work to ensure alignment with safety, scope, and schedule requirements

• Work with project teams to support safe execution in remote and extreme climate conditions

• Track field progress, maintain documentation, and contribute to reporting

• Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental compliance

• Identify and communicate field issues, risks, and improvement opportunities

• Contribute to successful project outcomes and environmental restoration efforts

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction coordination, supervision, or field operations

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (civil, environmental, or related discipline)

• Exposure to mine closure, remediation, or environmental projects is an asset
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments
• Ability to work in remote locations under extreme weather and site conditions
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance in field environments
• Adaptability and resilience in rotational work schedules (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)

Compensation

• AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $37.60 - $49.90
• MB & ON: $34.30 - $47.30
• NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $34.00 - $45.20
