Job Responsibility: Alberta Snowboard is excited to announce three seasonal opportunities to join our team for the 2025–26 season. These roles support grassroots programming and international events — ideal for individuals who thrive in sport and event environments. Program Coordinator Contract: Nov 1, 2025 – Mar 31, 2026 The Program Coordinator will oversee Alberta Snowboard’s core programming, including Little Riders (schools), Elleboard (women & girls), the Alberta Series, and integration with major international competitions. Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate in-school and on-snow programs
• Support volunteer and athlete engagement
• Oversee Alberta Series event logistics and results
• Assist with World Cup and Junior World Cup integrations

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in program/event management (sport preferred)
• Experience coaching or instructing youth
• CASI Level 2 or Competition Intro certification (or working towards it)

Event Administration Coordinator Contract: Oct 2025 – Jan 2026 | Calgary, AB The Event Administration Coordinator will support the FIS Halfpipe World Cup at WinSport, focusing on logistics and administration to ensure smooth operations off the snow. Key responsibilities:

• Manage team registration, hotel bookings, and transportation
• Coordinate accreditation and race office operations
• Oversee lodging, meals, volunteer admin, and logistics
• Support sponsor hosting and event communications

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Event logistics/administration experience
• Ability to work under pressure in a live-event setting

Media Attaché Contract: Dec 2025 – Jan 2026 | Calgary, AB The Media Attaché will connect athletes, media, and organizers during World Cup season, ensuring smooth media coordination and effective storytelling. Key responsibilities:

• Liaise with Canada Snowboard and FIS media teams
• Coordinate athlete interviews and press access
• Manage media accreditation and mix zone operations
• Support athletes in balancing media needs with performance

Qualifications:

• Communications or media relations background
• Experience in live sports/events
• Strong interpersonal and adaptability skills
