Housekeeper Wanted - Experienced Housekeeper Part Time Family Assistant / Housekeeper — North York

We are a busy family in North York seeking a reliable, experienced and proactive Family Assistant/Housekeeper to help keep our home clean, organized and running smoothly. This is a hands-on position combining housekeeping with meal preparation and practical household support. We are looking for someone who notices what needs to be done, takes initiative and can work independently without requiring constant direction. Schedule Approximately 20–25 hours per week across four weekdays. Daytime availability is preferred, although there can be some flexibility in arranging the schedule. This is a live-out position. Responsibilities Regular cleaning and upkeep of the home Laundry, changing linens, folding and putting clothing away Keeping the kitchen, pantry, closets and common areas organized Meal planning and preparing simple, nutritious family meals Grocery shopping and monitoring household supplies Running occasional errands, returns and pickups Coordinating deliveries, repairs and household appointments Helping maintain the household calendar and weekly task list Anticipating routine household needs and following through independently This is not primarily a childcare or nanny position. However, the successful candidate should be comfortable working in a busy family home with school-aged children. The Ideal Candidate Has previous professional housekeeping or family-assistant experience Is dependable, punctual, organized and efficient Takes pride in maintaining a clean and orderly home Is comfortable cooking family-style meals Communicates clearly and exercises good judgment Respects the family’s privacy and confidentiality Is legally eligible to work in Canada Can provide strong, verifiable employment references Is willing to complete a police background check Compensation is $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience and capabilities.
