InDesign JavaScript Developer

In this role you will:

• Develop and customize templates using JavaScript for Adobe InDesign to meet specific project requirements.
• Provide system analysis, object-oriented design / programming, technical documentation, and support for existing and new applications and systems as needed.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and project managers.
• Optimize existing scripts and processes to improve workflow efficiency and productivity.
• Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, documenting, and implementing of applications and scripts.
• Participate in production issue analysis and perform root cause analysis for production issues and implementation issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in JavaScript.

And a bit about yourself:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• You have at least 3-5 years of technical working experience in scripting and systems analysis, design and development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, with at least 2 years hands-on experience in scripting for Adobe InDesign.
• Familiarity with Lua scripting language, with a willingness to develop expertise if needed.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
