Our client, a leading seafood processing facility, is seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing and processing department supporting the efficient and safe handling of seafood products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Production
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Shift: 6am start unless advised otherwise
What's the Job?
- Assist in processing and packaging fresh and frozen seafood products
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality and safety standards
- Operate machinery such as mixers, slicers, and blenders safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing equipment and work areas regularly
- Monitor temperature controls and record production data accurately
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work in cold environments and handle physical tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in wet conditions
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
