Sous la direction du chef, Conformité des produits et systèmes de données, et sous la responsabilité fonctionnelle du chef, Systèmes de qualité et conformité réglementaire, vous participerez à la mise à l’essai des produits, à la conformité des fournisseurs, à la gestion de la certification, aux systèmes de qualité, ainsi qu’à la création et au maintien des Dossiers techniques des produits.
Ce que vous ferez :
Conformité des produits et gestion de dossiers techniques
- Créer et tenir à jour des Dossiers techniques des produits conformes aux spécifications des produits, aux exigences réglementaires et aux attentes des clients
- Gérer le contrôle des versions et l’intégrité des documents à l’échelle de la gestion du cycle de vie des produits (PLM) de MIP et du Système de gestion de la qualité (eQMS)
- Soutenir l’amélioration continue de la documentation sur les produits, des processus de conformité et des normes de qualité
- Tenir à jour les spécifications de qualité, les critères d’inspection des produits finis et la documentation des produits
Mise à l’essai des produits et assurance de la qualité
- Coordonner les essais et les inspections de la qualité des produits avec les fournisseurs et les laboratoires tiers
- Gérer les programmes d’essais externes et assurer le suivi en temps opportun des résultats des tests et des mesures correctives
- Effectuer et documenter les essais internes des produits, y compris les tests de lavage, les tests de rétrécissement, les évaluations de l’ajustement des matelas et les inspections d’introduction de nouveaux produits (NPI)
- Examiner et évaluer les rapports de laboratoire, les résultats des inspections et les résultats sur la qualité des produits
- Approuver ou rejeter les échantillons de pré-production en fonction des normes de qualité établies
- Surveiller le rendement des produits, les tests de stabilité et les tendances en matière de qualité et en rendre compte
Attestations et conformité des fournisseurs
- Coordonner les demandes de certification et les documents justificatifs pour les programmes comme OEKO-TEX®, Green Button (Grüner Knopf) et d’autres normes applicables
- Faire le suivi des certifications des produits et des fournisseurs, en veillant au respect des exigences en matière de renouvellement et de conformité
- Tenir à jour les documents relatifs à la qualité, aux tests et à la conformité sociale des fournisseurs
- Veiller à ce que les données sur la certification et la conformité soient reflétées avec exactitude dans les systèmes de MIP
Systèmes qualité et soutien aux plaintes
- Soutenir les enquêtes sur les plaintes des clients au moyen du suivi des échantillons, de la gestion de la documentation et de la coordination du suivi
- Tenir à jour les dossiers de plaintes dans le système électronique de gestion de la qualité et participer aux activités de tri des plaintes
- Soutenir les enquêtes de non-conformité et les initiatives de mesures correctives et préventives
- Contribuer à la documentation des causes profondes, au suivi des mesures et aux projets d’amélioration de la qualité
- Participer aux réunions sur la qualité et soutenir les initiatives continues du Système de gestion de la qualité (eQMS)
- Soutenir les initiatives de durabilité, y compris la collecte de données sur les émissions de gaz à effet de serre (GES) et la production de rapports
Ce que vous apportez
- Diplôme ou baccalauréat en science du textile, en gestion de la qualité, en sciences, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe
- Au moins trois ans d’expérience dans le contrôle de la qualité, la mise à l’essai de produits, la conformité ou dans un poste connexe dans les textiles, les vêtements, les produits de santé ou les biens de consommation
- Expérience de travail avec des laboratoires d’essai de produits, des programmes de qualité des fournisseurs et des processus d’inspection
- Solide compréhension de la conception des produits, des processus de fabrication, des systèmes de qualité et des bonnes pratiques de fabrication
- Expérience dans la création ou le maintien de Dossiers techniques des produits, un atout
- Connaissance des programmes de certification, comme OEKO-TEX®, des normes Made in Green, Green Button ou des normes équivalentes
- Expérience de travail avec les systèmes ERP, PLM et les Systèmes de gestion de la qualité (eQMS)
- Maîtrise des applications Microsoft Office
- Expérience de l’utilisation d’Adobe Illustrator pour créer des dessins techniques, un atout
- Solides compétences en analyse, en organisation et en résolution de problèmes
- Excellentes compétences en communication et en gestion des parties prenantes
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités et à travailler de façon autonome dans un environnement dynamique

Banyan Capital partners, part of Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group, is seeking to hire a Product Compliance Specialist for its portfolio company, MIP.

Reporting to the Product Compliance and Data Systems Lead, with a dotted-line relationship to the Quality Systems and Regulatory Compliance Lead, you will support product testing, supplier compliance, certification management, quality systems, and the creation and maintenance of product Tech Packs.
What You Will Do:
Product Compliance & Tech Pack Management
- Create and maintain product Tech Packs in alignment with product specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations
- Manage version control and document integrity across MIP’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and electronic Quality Management System (eQMS)
- Support the ongoing improvement of product documentation, compliance processes, and quality standards
- Maintain quality specifications, finished goods inspection criteria, and product documentation
Product Testing & Quality Assurance
- Coordinate product quality testing and inspections with suppliers and third-party laboratories
- Manage external testing programs and ensure timely follow-up of test results and corrective actions
- Conduct and document in-house product testing, including wash testing, shrinkage testing, mattress fitting evaluations, and new product introduction (NPI) inspections
- Review and assess laboratory reports, inspection findings, and product quality results
- Approve or reject pre-production samples based on established quality standards
- Monitor and report on product performance, stability testing, and quality trends
Certifications & Supplier Compliance
- Coordinate certification submissions and supporting documentation for programs such as OEKO-TEX®, Green Button (Grüner Knopf), and other applicable standards
- Track product and supplier certifications, ensuring renewals and compliance requirements are maintained
- Maintain supplier quality, testing, and social compliance documentation
- Ensure certification and compliance data is accurately reflected within MIP’s systems
Quality Systems & Complaint Support
- Support customer complaint investigations through sample tracking, documentation management, and follow-up coordination
- Maintain complaint records within the eQMS and assist with complaint triage activities
- Support non-conformance investigations and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) initiatives
- Assist with root cause documentation, action tracking, and quality improvement projects
- Participate in quality meetings and support ongoing Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives
- Support sustainability initiatives, including Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions data collection and reporting
What You Bring
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Textile Science, Quality Management, Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control, product testing, compliance, or a related role within textiles, apparel, healthcare products, or consumer goods
- Experience working with product testing laboratories, supplier quality programs, and inspection processes
- Strong understanding of product construction, manufacturing processes, quality systems, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Experience creating or maintaining product Tech Packs is considered a strong asset
- Familiarity with certification programs such as OEKO-TEX®, Made in Green, Green Button, or equivalent standards
- Experience working with ERP, PLM, and electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator to create technical drawings is considered an asset
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
