Azure Kubernetes Engineer at Manulife

Elevate platform operations with Manulife as a Platform Reliability Engineer specializing in Azure Kubernetes Services. Ensure compliance and operational excellence in a hybrid work setting. In this critical role within the Manulife Global Wealth & Asset Management team, you'll maintain and enhance Azure Kubernetes Services while supporting operational procedures and ITIL processes. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you’ll manage platform issues and assist in deploying resources using Infrastructure as Code. Your contributions directly impact service delivery and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver product services consistently on a 24/7 basis
- Manage Azure Kubernetes Services and Azure PaaS operations
- Support onboarding of applications into AKS clusters
- Oversee cluster upgrade and patching tasks
- Review and fulfill SWIFT requests per SLA
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to learn new technologies swiftly
