Producer Position Summary:

The Producer is responsible for driving revenue growth by building and maintaining valuable relationships with prospects and clients by understanding their business and associated human capital needs. This is delivered by consulting with clients in the areas of employee benefits, compensation, and retirement solutions that manage risk, cost and facilitate a healthy and engaged workforce while growing Gallagher's share of the market.

How you'll make an impact :

• Prospect for new clients by networking within the community and industry, seeking referrals from existing clients, and partnering with Branch Managers to identify new opportunities.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of business opportunities that reflect an appropriate mix of new clients and account expansion.
• Ensure a deep understanding of current and potential clients' evolving business and human capital needs.
• Introduce Gallagher's full-service offering to broaden the scope and impact of client relationships.
• Leverage relationships with technical resources to design, plan, and deliver the best employee benefits, rewards, retirement and human capital solutions.
• Convey deep technical expertise in helping clients evaluate opportunities to reduce cost, risk and improve the overall competitiveness of benefits, retirement and HR services.
• Orchestrates resources from across Gallagher to optimize delivery of client solutions.
• Ensure benefits analyses, solution designs, and implementation plans address the unique needs of the client and deliver the expected value.
• Constantly stay abreast of industry, market and legislative trends that impact health & welfare plan design, delivery and compliance.
• Develop proposals that are fiscally sound, reflect an appropriate investment in the client, and demonstrate the overall capabilities of Gallagher

About you :

• Significant consultative business to business sales experience.
• Demonstrated success in developing new business as well as maintaining an existing customer base.
• Bachelor's degree is highly desired and 5 or more years related experience; OR High School Diploma/GED required and 10 or more years' experience in a related field/industry
• Acts independently with minimal direction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team selling environment
• Results Oriented
