You will be responsible for protecting patients, staff, and visitors within the hospital setting, ensuring that the healthcare environment remains secure and calm. This role goes beyond traditional security; it’s about being part of a team that actively serves the community in all healthcare settings.Key ResponsibilitiesPatrolling Healthcare Facilities: Conduct routine patrols inside and outside the hospital to ensure the safety of people and property and the maintenance of order.Patient & Staff Protection: Safeguard the well-being of patients, public, and hospital staff by monitoring activities and intervening when necessary.Patient Observation: Monitor patients' behavior and movements to ensure their safety, especially those at risk of self-harm, aggression, or wandering.Access Control: Monitor and control access to healthcare facilities to ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed entry, particularly in sensitive areas.Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, such as medical crises, security breaches, or fires, ensuring a swift resolution.Crisis Management: Intervene during emergency or crisis situations, such as patient or visitor conflicts, de-escalating issues in a professional and calm manner.Surveillance: Utilize surveillance equipment to detect and prevent incidents or criminal activity, maintaining a proactive security presence.Report Writing: Create detailed reports of incidents and security-related activities, ensuring proper documentation.Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with medical staff, hospital administration, and local law enforcement to ensure patient and staff safety.Enforce Hospital Policies: Ensure that hospital policies, including visitor and patient protocols, are followed.
