Lead Insolvency Management in Fintech

Become a key player in a growing fintech company as the Lead, Insolvency and Agency Management. Use your expertise to manage complex recovery files in a flexible, remote-first environment. This role focuses on overseeing commercial insolvency cases, collaborating with teams across Collections, Legal, Finance, and Risk. You'll drive vendor performance and have opportunities for leadership as the organization expands. Bring your 5+ years of experience in recoveries, insolvency, or financial services to shape effective recovery practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial insolvency files and legal proceedings
- Recommend recovery strategies based on security assessments
- Oversee relationships with recovery vendors and monitor performance
- Coordinate litigation and asset searches with partners
- Mentor Collections team on complex recoveries
- Minimum of 5 years in collections or insolvency
- Knowledge of Canadian insolvency processes and BIA, CCAA
- Experience managing collection agencies or law firms
- Proficiency in CRM or collections management systems
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
